If anyone reading this is looking for a belt held style for IDPA or mountain bike riding in the desert . . . the single stack 1911 mag holders from Fobus are great.

I looked around for holders for my PM40 mags, grabbed a double pouch paddle mag holder out of the stash and lost interest in spending money on anything else. They work that well for me. :)

I keep mine in my pocket, in a mag pouch I made. You need to protect the top round on Kahr mags or they tend to fall out.

I use either a single or double leather mag holder that I set up to snap over the belt. I generally plan to use them for IDPA but certainly could use them for EDC.

Bass Pro shops sells a few different sizes of nylon belt sheaths for multi-tools/pocket knives, etc. They can be worn vertically or horizontally on the belt, and it just looks like a regular tool sheath with a velcro flap. Very inexpensive, and doesn't scream "GUN".
