Rounds 250-300 were 100% reliable. I just need more time and ammo to up the round count a little more.

Good news! :D
My first Kahr, a CW40, was like that. It's been a little bumpier since, but when you get a good one . . . it's a very good thing!
Congratulations!

Both of my Kahrs are boringly reliable. Nothing ever goes wrong.
I may have to pick up an LC9 just to have something to *itch about. :D

kiddin about the unreliability but normally until I put at least 500 or so rounds of various ammo through a weapon it still has not gotten my full trust,so far my MK9 and the new addition ,CM9 are my favorites...for now

500 is generally my reliability threshold too. I usually try to get there as quickly as possible.
Little harder to do of late with ammo prices and shortages but we struggle thru.
Many of the guys I work with here have no such standard, out of the box, load it up and maybe shoot a box and even if a blip or two they feel good to go. I could never do that.

well actually at round perfect 500, round 501 can malfunction, so it is more of a menta lthing that actual fact. Everyone has their own round count for "reliability" Mine is far less than 500. But I am cheap

Finding the $$ for the ammo is easier than finding the time to shoot it all.

Nah, he owns a powder mine in the hill with a bullet mine next to it and a 9mm brass mine on the other side. Word has it he stuck a vein of primers but is keeping that under his helmet. :)

and please be aware of my NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. I may not hit you with the first or 50th round but trust me I will be firing like there will be no tomorrow if you enter my bullet mine. It is all mine and I will not share one round with any of u a-holes and who knows my first shot at one of u trespassers might this time just be dead center COM. I have been known to do that 'occassionaly".
PS. hat also goes if you even try to fokkwith either of my two Harleys..
but u are more than welcome to my two worthless ass "yorkies".

point there and I never actually set down and figured out what I had spent on ammo but now u scared me. I have cut back alot this year not due to price, just plain lazyness on my part and I figure after 32,000 rounds if I can't hit jack sh-t now, what good is another 5000 rounds going to do. One thing that I do have going for me is when I show up at the range, EVERYONE leaves. I know not why, but I never ask either. Evidently I did something that makes them not want to be part of being here. It is outdoors, so my farts have nothing to do with it, nor my belches. I normally don't stink course that depends on what day of the week I go shooting. Sundays and mondays are good days but towards the end of the week. leaves on tress close to my range seem to curl up when I arrive, but heh, life is great.

Do the worthless Yorkie's ride around in little baskets on your Harleys on road trips?
I saw the coolest thing on the way to the ocean this last weekend. Big Harley but he had Long Horn Steer horns mounted above the handle bars. I mean big ones too. I wasn't able to get up beside him even though we were on a 4 lane highway near Olympia, traffic just kept messing with me. My kid even crawled to the back of the van to get the camera in case a picture presented itself but didn't happen.
Probably good since he probably would have pulled me over and stomped my camera and me for taking a picture of his greasy self. He was a dirt bag, oh there I go profiling again. Pretty cool bike though.
