At a hotel tonight traveling for work and the business center computer S*CKS. I can't do SEARCH FORUM or it locks this computer. So if this has been answered before I apologize. I was interested in CDNN's price for the P380 which can't seem to be beat, but when I called them asking about a CZ branded firearm the man said he didn't have any because they only carry closeouts. That caught my attention. I have bought from Bud's before but never CDNN. My question: what does it mean if you buy a "closeout" Kahr P380 from CDNN? These P380s seem to be so scarce in the LGS that why would they be closeouts at CDNN?

Hoghunter,timely post.
This very morning I was looking ar CDDN online and I am of the opinion, and that's all this is,opinion, that quite possibly those Kahr .380's might possibly be the single screw on the right handgrip side plate .380's as the newer ones have two screws for what ever reason.
They may also be frames with some blems, but generally I would think if that's the case it would be spelled out in advertisement.
I myself have certainly wondered how they can be so low in price.
However if one ventures over to GunBroker there are a few there in the latest two screw side plate fashion for not much more.
But remember..New is new and Kahr is going to still honor the new gun warranty if there is a problem.
Press CDNN's customer service for the answer.
Honestly you and I know that's the best price to be found.
The only reason I have not jumped is they are a Texas company and I get stuck with an 8.25% sales tax as a Texas resident.....Meh.

heeler,
Thanks. I was kinda thinking the same thing. Selling it that much cheaper- you know what they say when something sounds too good to be true. I would prefer the 2 screw version only because I want the "newest" version. I guess you could buy from Bud's but who knows if you get the one or two screw version?

Go look at GunBroker.
Look closely at several that are below $500.00.
Not many in that price range but they are there.
And the latest edition.

Edit to add...Call CDNN...For all we know they may have bought out a going out a business dealer stock for a price we could only wish for.

CDNN seems to buy up weird items, and offer them at good prices. They also have total buy outs from importers as well.

On Kahr vs CZ - buyout or not, could be he was referring to CZ buyouts, not buyouts in general, dunno.

Heeler; you get the prize. Cash flow is king and Charlie at CDNN is a master at buying out folks with inventory and cash flow needs.

FWIW; Charlie at CDNN is a good man.

Nope; I have no financial interest in CDNN.
