I put them on my pm9, I have an issue driving me crazy!!!

When I go IWB with a tuckable holster, the grit of the grip rubs my spare tire. I mean it feels like sandpaper on my skin. Any way to remedy?

Help!

I'm not that familiar with Traction Grips but several offer the sandpaper type or a more rubbery grip type surface. The rubbery version seems to work much better especially when in contact with skin other than your hand.

A holster with more of a sweat shield might help if your happy with the grips in all other respects.

I personally am not a big fan of decal type grips that glue on. They work good and I've tried several but there always comes a time when they start to unravel on the edges and start to look poor after a spell.

Many love them and swear by them.

An IWB with a sweat shield should cure that, as would losing the spare tire (not so easy or quick). Can you send the holster back to be modified with a sweat guard?

Dunno know on the above suggestions. I really like the grips, the are rubbery based, almost like the pads you see on surfboards. Only a couple of inches of the butt are exposed of the pm9, but it just cuts into the skin. I'll have to take some pictures to show you guys. I guess updates to come...

Wear a wife beater t-shirt, tucked in, under your regular shirt.

I tried that, and it does work...

Only problem is I have never worn an under shirt in my life, ever. I am a really hot natured person and sweat easily. I tend to wear shorts whenever I can, even during winter. Just love to be colder.

Wife says I am crazy. It would make sense if I was grossly overweight, but I am only carrying around an extra 10lbs.... I don't know why in the hell I get so hot.

go with a "technical" t-shirt, something that wicks sweat. There are plenty of cheap ones out there as long as you avoid pricy "under armor" and related marked up stuff. super comfortable and thats speaking as a 215# sweaty guy who shovels snow in shorts. ;)
