So I brought home my CM9 yesterday, now I have to figure out what holster to get. I'm thinking about the Crossbreed MicroClip--anyone use that one? What other recommendations do you guys have for me?

More people like the MiniTuck (http://crossbreedholsters.com/MiniTuck/tabid/91/List/0/ProductID/6/CategoryID/1/Level/1/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName,ProductName); the two well spaced clips enhance stability and combat sag. Personally, I don't like the clips with crosses on them. It seems like they would draw attention. After all, if you are wearing a tuckable IWB holster, you don't want it given away by two weird looking clips visible on your belt. But the beauty of Crossbreed is that you can get the Velcro tabs that attach to Velcro on the inside of your belt and, wallah, total concealment. I do not own a crossbreed holster, but my opinion is based on the tons of feedback that I have seen here regarding these well liked holsters. Go for the MiniTuck. I know it looks bulky in pictures, but in real life it is a real pleasure to use.

Tommie Thies Holsters. A copy of Crossbreed Minituck. $59 for horse hide. Combat cut is his standard holster. The kydex is full barrel length ( no trouser wear from barrel rub). And the best part, shipped 3 days from placing the order.

What about an exact duplicate of this one in a right hand version? This one is mine. Very well built and the price should be $50 plus shipping. Contact this guy. http://www.customholsters.webs.com/

I should add, I am also looking at some kydex options, too. I think I like this one. (http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1268652)

I also think I like the idea of J hooks, too, because they seem more concealable. Anyone have experience with them they'd care to share?

There is no bigger advocate of the Crossbreed line of holsters on this forum than I am.I have the minituck for my PM9 and to say it is perfect is to damn with faint praise. In total,I have purchased 7 holsters from Crossbreed, all in horsehide. If they made one that fit my Rossi .357 snubnose I would own eight.I believe that pretty well sums up my opinion on IWB holsters.

See what I told you about Crossbreed fans on here?

I bought one of the Coach's holsters. A tuckable IWB with J-hook. It is very comfortable to wear (surprising how well the Kydex does for IWB wear) - so much so that I can truly forget that it is there, but I found it rides too low and is very difficult to draw from. And it is too tight for my CM9. I kept loosening the one tension adjustment screw until it fell out, and never could get it loose enough. Of course, it riding inside the belt probably exacerbates the problem. Maybe one of his OWB holsters would work better. I don't know.

If you want to go IWB, another great option is the Silent Thunder (http://www.shop.gimagclip.com/CartGenie/prod-4.htm) leather lined Kydex holster, a real winner with even more fans here than the Crossbreed.

I have the cb supertuck with the cw45 and love it. Im sure the mini with the cm9 would be great. When I get a 9 im going to get another crossbreed. I live in Florida and wear t-shirts 95% of the time so the standard clips are not an issue, but as someone already stated they make the ones with velcro. As you can see Im another crossbreed fan.

The pistol is so small that an OWB almost work for CCW. I use this to train out of.

+1 for the Silent Thunder. It's a single clip grab-n-go holster you can slip in your waistband on your way out the door. I don't know how easily the 2 clip Crossbreed goes in for others but not well for me when I tried it. I do hope Deit will chime in though. I know both are comfortable and hold the gun well so it's like a smorgasbord you get to pick what you want.

I have a microclip and a minituck. Use the minituck for tucked in shirt w/ the j-clips. I use the microplip if I'm not worried about tucking (for whatever reason). Both work great.

Having a hard time making a decision myself. I am currently carrying in a Mika pocket holster that I have for a J frame. I figure I will wind up with a High Noon Mr Softy for daily AIWB carry and yet to figure out what to get when I tuck. I dont tuck often and I have a Smart Carry holster for when I do. When I do tuck I need complete concealment with no visible clips etc.
