My vote goes to the Pwii from Aholster Co. Much easier to put on/off than the hybrid styles. The small size of the CM9/PM9 doesn't need all that leather backer to be comfortable. I carry @ 3o'clock or appendix with that same holster. I just tuck it in my waistband under a Tshirt and go.

With that said my favorite is the Silent Thunder by Garrett Industries who do a lot of military and law agency products. They invented the process to adhere leather to kydex and the Silent Thunder, while rugged on the outside has a premium leather lining to cushion your gun's finish. They are good folks and have an excellent reputation and a full money back guaranty.

He apparently doesn't make any holsters for Kahrs, only has about 5 guns in his list.

I have purchased several holsters in the last three months. The best, by far, came from Tommy Theis at http://theisholsters.com/

I also have a nice COMPTAC CTAC Minotaur and an Offside from Alabama Holsters.

I just returned a Kholster Holster for a Sig P238 because it wasn't even close to fitting. They received it back Monday at 1:58 PM but I have yet to hear from them. Contrast this to the excellent service Theis provides. I have a separate thread started on that experience.

If your budget, patience and tastes allow, try Milt Sparks or TT Gunleather. I don't own them (no patience) but they are highly rated..and expensive.

You know, the Hybrid and Hybrid II holsters are worth a close look. Both have a thin leather lining inside the Kydex, and the Hybrid also has a layer of the same leather on the back. I don't know how well that would do with a sweaty wearer. But the Hybrid II is $20 cheaper and it says the back is plain leather with a water resistant finish. A lot of holster for $65.

Hey I'm famous or something.

I went to Garretts to order another Silent Thunder for my PM45 W/CTC and they printed my little thankyou email I sent them when I got the last one for my CBOB. I even mentioned kahrtalk. We're all famous.

You failed to mention OldLincoln's review right below yours. You're both famous! (Well, you're both famous in my book, anyway! :yo:)

I looked again and your right, I also noticed that right before mine was Willieboys, lots of famous here.

I'm balking on my order since I have a line on a ankle rig but I'm thinking on weekends my little PM45 would be quicker and handier on my hip than on my leg when the CBOB is resting on the dresser.

I better get one and be done. I know I'll feel better.

I bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered a Silent Thunder for my PM45 w/Crimson Trace Laser. I just filled out the on line order form and submitted. In the comment section I told them I worked in Law Enforcement but was of course not commissioned and only a lowly office puke.
In less than 5 minutes I got an email from Sheryl who said she would apply the 15% discount for military / LE plus an additional 5 % because they are going to have a sale over Labor Day! I've been very lucky alot lately, I really have.

Anyhow they are a class act and a great rig. If your pondering you might check out the upcoming sale.

This poster is not compensated, nor is he a paid actor. Guess he's a free actor/poser with a severe addiction to things that go bang, things that hold things that go bang and most recently kukris. (more on that later)

I KNEW you were scratching the holster itch when you posted here earlier...hanging around the Silent Thunder IWB page...reading reviews...selecting your options... hovering your cursor over the ADD TO CART button. :75:

I hope this holster is THE PERFECT ONE! :yo:

It looks like I'm going to miss this sale, too. :( If it is just labor Day weekend, I can't do it...don't get paid again 'till mid-month. I hope the sale lasts long enough. :wof:

Sheryl didn't give any details about the time frame or the pricing.

As nice as they are it wouldn't suprise me a bit if they wouldn't offer members here another discount period like Old Lincoln set up before. I know they were anticipating a large military order at that time so didn't want to run it too long and make people wait.

Not sure what their work load is like now. Busy as heck no doubt.

It's ordered. Should get it in a week or two. They say two weeks but they usually are a little ahead of their prediction especially after I mentioned your name.

I of course will give a full report. I like the one for my CBOB alot and I suspect with the minimal weight, thinness and compactness of the PM45 it will be even better.

What pushed me over the top was on weekends the PM45 usually becomes primary and I wear it on my ankle. Perfect for a back up gun but slow for a primary. This was brought home a month ago when I tried to deploy it on my riding lawnmower and found it way slow. Didn't even get a shot at the vermin...........
