Well I finished the breakin without a problem. I've gone thru 250 rounds with only the very first round being a FTE. That was caused by me having just shot a 22 pistol and limp wristed it. On the last 50 I even shot at 20 and 10 yards with good results. I am still getting used to the trigger but it is coming along and i love the gun.
Next I need to buy both an IWB and OWB holsters and decide on some SD ammo. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
The take down process has gotten easier since the break in rounds have gone thru. It isn't nearly as stiff to push and hold the slide as it was for the prep cleaning.
Now I can go to the range and just shoot to get more proficient and have some fun. My next task is to get a Lee Pro 1000 reloader so I can reload my own stuff and afford to go more often.

Ammo wise I've always been a huge fan of Hornaday. Their TAP sd ammo is top notch. With my p239 9mm I'm currently carrying 1 mag of 147 grain TAP and 2 extra mags of the Critical Defense. Both of these rounds shoot very well for me out of my Sig.

I also carry the Critical Defense in my model 36. Gold Dots in my ppk/s 380.

For an IWB holster, you can`t beat the Crossbreed minituck.
For good SD ammo there are a multitude of choices.Speer Gold Dot,Win.Ranger T-series,Hornaday,Rem.Golden Saber and the list goes on and on.Just find a premium brand that functions perfectly in your gun and go with it.Don`t let yourself get caught up in the ammunition debate. You`ll end up like a dog chasing his tail.

+1 on the Crossbreed. Ammo wise I like Ranger SXT, or Winchester PDX 147 gr.

Glad you did so well with your new CM9.

It would be hard to go wrong with any US made brand ammo that fed reliably through your CM9. I've been carrying Black Hills 115 gr. EXP in my Kahr. Black Hills 124 +P, that I carry in my Glock, also shot without issue through my PM9.
