10 year anniversary present

Jlottmc's and I 10 year anniversary was Monday and everyones knows he got a new 1911 Commander Length for our anniversary. I didn't get a new gun but here is my anniversary present...

Very pretty. I'm not up on my stones too good although I should be after looking at as many as I have.
Our anniversary is Wednesday, 28 years + 10 year engagement, + dating and such. Been awhile.
Guess I better think of something pretty quick. Ideas? She has lots of jewelry but always seems to want more, kind of like guns I guess.

We keep talking about our anniversary coming up in 2 weeks - our 45th. Right now it's looking like dinner that night, then a trip to Carmel in October when the crowds leave and seasonal rates kick in. I'll be rolling her around and just don't want to try that in a Labor Day mob. It's generally not a chair friendly town.

PS: Tell your kids NOT to marry on a holiday!!!!!

At the time, I got my ol' lady a Rolex two tone and a trip to Chalet Suzanne. Fat lot of good it did me. Someplace I think I've got that Rolex still... snuck it out.

The stones are two small diamonds on each side, and the gemstones are Ameythst - February for jlottmc's birthday, Garnet - middle stone for my birthday (January) and Blue Topaz - December for Laura's birthday. That is what I wanted for our 10 year. we normally only going out to eat and do nothing else, but for those milestone anniversaries we usually do something nicer and usually more expensive. For our year anniversary, he sent flowers the one and only time to me for work, 5 years he had a pendant made.

We actually have two anniversaries....the "OFFICIAL" anniversary is August 15 and the second anniversary where we did the ceremony at the church in October. The official anniversary isn't hard to remember, military pay day....We did the JP on the 15th and then did the ceremony for all the family and friends Oct 6th. His mom and family were NOT happy about that...Oh well.

We did the JP at Beaufort County, NC in Carteret County.
