I got this email. I missed the Fox Newscast.
President Bush did serve in the Air National Guard and did fly dangerous jets as a pilot. I got a kick out of his landing on a carrier and he got a lot of bad press... from a lot of people who never did anything for America... never risked their skin in any way for their country.
I still think we couldn't have had a better man at the helm when we were attacked almost 10 years ago. He never wavered and knew what had to be done and did it... no f###ing apologies, either.
I didn't agree with some of his fiscal policies and wish he had done more in some things, but overall, he was a real PATRIOT and a REAL Commander-in-Chief. Try to imagine the current POTUS doing anything like this or even pretending to care that much.
Anyhow, this guy has my respect., and this is a good view that the Lame Stream Media won't broadcast:
This is really worth watching to the end......Pretty cool stuff !!
This is a Commander in Chief!

Didn't hear Bush blame 9/11 on Clinton who had Ben Laden and let him go. Didn't hear him blame anybody in fact. I strongly disagreed with some of his decisions but I appreciate him more as our experience grows with Obama.
Obama is like my 9 year old grandson blaiming everybody else for his screw ups. Only he will grow out of this. Heck, Obama even blames Bush for signing the initial stimulus that he didn't until requested by the incoming Obama - who did request it.
I want to hear a candidate state he or she will not blame prior presidents for their problems. The buck stops there but it also starts there. When you take that office you adopt and own all situations good and bad - period!

A REAL hero, for sure! Surrounded by other real heroes! The cream of the crop! And in contrast, the Marxist and all his cronies are REFUSE—what comes out the stinky hole! We need to change our prayer from "God bless America" to "God SAVE America!"

Bush was a fine if not great man and president. The libs hated him and stuck it too him every chance they got. How many times to you hear someone's a bum before you start to believe it. He hasn't pulled 1/4 the crap The Annointed One has, yet he got a dozen more times crap for anything he did do. Libs couldn't stand him cause he was honest, Christian, a humble man, somewhat conservative, and everthing they hate in a person. I was damn glad he was at the helm during the 9/11 horror, and not that crazy a$$ Gore, he'd probably claimed it was global warming and the heat drove the terrorists crazy, therefore they couldnt be held responsible.

It almost makes me want to go upstairs and drag my bike down from the attic! We're the same age and I've been vegetating too much the last 7 1/2 years since I don't have a dog to walk anymore. Don't want another, either, too much like having a child... and besides, another one might outlive ME!
I used to get a lot of exercise until he got too sick to walk very far. We would go out several times a day and late at night. I would strap on my P12... and in the beginning an extra mag with 12 more rounds, tactical light, stun gun, cellular phone... didn't have a defensive knife, but felt well-armed and ready for anything. The stun gun did get used... a large dog wouldn't come too close with the crack and blue light of the arc it made. I didn't have to shock the dog... it sensed danger. :D
I carried a lighter load on the bike... .22 TPH and the stun gun... pre-polymer Kahrs... prior to me getting some. Now I would at least carry the P380 for a walk, but it's too danged hot and I've gotten too lazy.
It was good to see that "W" is not letting "old age" hold him back. It really made me feel proud to see him spending time with those veterans. I really support the Wonded Warriors and wish that some of those rich bastards wanting to give their money to the government would give it to Wounded Warriors and other organizations helping the veterans directly... not running another federal bureaucracy where the money really dwindles as it "trickles down" to the deserving, if at all.
Dang! Got carried away about myself there for a bit.

Wynn, I'm your younger brother, approaching my 61st birthday. "W" is a real leader by example, isn't he? Did you see how thin and strait waisted he is? With my paralyzed legs going away from me, I am soon to join Bawanna in the wheel chair brigade. Nothing I can do about it; the motor nerves are dieing. But I have been on a diet for the last few months, and I have lost 18 lb so far. I still need to lose another 18, so I am sticking to my diet—not an organized one, just eating a LOT less of everything, avoiding really big hits, and essentially changing my philosophy of life regarding eating—not letting love for certain favorite foods rule me.

Nice, I remember shortly after 9/11 he was flying to Camp Lejuene for something, and stopped in at Cherry Point during a stand down that we were in the middle of. He walks in to the base theater, says a few words and asked if we wanted to see something cool. After that he forms us up in a Battalion formation, marches us out to the flight line, and gives a quick tour of Air Force One. Secret Service didn't appreciate that, but that was the coolest thing I had ever heard of.

To me, George W was one of the few people in public office, let alone the President of the US, who seemed to really care about people. He was very loyal to the ones that he appointed to positions even to a fault and was not self-serving. A lot of people thought that he was weak because of that. What he really did I believe was set high demands and expectations for those in position and held them to it. One thing is he had their back and I feel like he watched the country's back also while in office. I cant say the same thing for our current guy in office.
I remember after Hurricane Katrina hit he flew over the coast to survey the damage then his plane landed at an airfield in Mobile, AL. I cant remember who the FEMA director was then but I know a guy that was there at that time and he said that when Bush got off of the plane he met that director on the ramp and chewed his butt out. You could tell he was hot at the lack of progress after several days and how the situation was progressing. Later that evening on TV he expressed his support for the director complemented him publicly on his work so far and said aid was on the way. After that visit there was a mass of whatever was needed on the coast.
