Got home not too long ago from the second range trip with my new MK40 Elite 03. I've fired 100 rounds total today, one box of Federal American Eagle 180 gr and one box of Independence 180 gr. Now there has been 218 FLAWLESS rounds through it! The felt recoil actually feels a good amount lighter than he PM40 I had, firing 180 grain ammo through my MK40 was actually enjoyable!

I'm still getting used to the XS Big Dot sights and my MK40, my groups were much better but there's still plenty of room for improvement.

I'd like to get a laserlyte target and trainer to practice at home without having to blow almost $50 every range trip that involves 100 rounds. I probably won't be able to go to the range in the next couple or few weeks, I have a CC class coming up this weekend and need some extra money to pay for the application fee.

If only this hobby and having personal protection weren't so expensive, but it's worth every penny.

Get some snap caps and kill everything that offends you on TV - LOL!.
It's actually good muscle memory and trigger finger practice to dry fire.
I find my muscles remember exactly what sighted in feels like.
Almost don't need the sights close up.
Shooting should be like breathing - automatic, effortless and natural.

I'm a third degree Black Belt.
And the magic comes with practice, practice, practice.

+1 on practice and snap caps. I actually have some and having a CT laser would definitely help with my trigger control. I used to practice using a CT back when I had my PM40 and haven't done it in a long time.
