View Full Version : Proud Owner of a new CM9

Went to the gun show in Ft Worth today, didnt go with the thought of actually buying the CM9. Figured it would be an online order and transfer with a FFL.

But I found a price that said buy me, $399. Had to pay tax, but not that much different that the FFL fee. Im happy. Now to print out and do all the breakin prep.

This forum has been a wealth of info. Thanks to all!!!

Do the prep work- especially testing to make sure the mag follower does not rub the mag release. I did everything to prep and went to the range knowing the mag follower rubbed the mag release "hoping" that it would work itself out (it did not) and I got the nose dive issues. You will learn to get familiar with your magazines as these have been the source of my issues.

You will be very happy with the CM-9, it was the first Kahr I bought and been banging away for a few months now with no problems at all, except for trying to keep ammo reloaded. Welcome to the forum and Happy Shooting. And do follow the prep work. :)

Welcome. My CM9 has been good from day 1. I would do the clean and lube and rack the slide about 500 times to smooth it out a little and work the springs because that thing is one tight pistol.

You're going to enjoy that new gun.

You did well! I paid a little more for mine, but this gun has about every metal part custom mirror polished, even the slide! See what you think....
