Expecting issues, I took my new CM9, purchased Monday, to the range today.

Ran 300 rounds of Federal Champion without a hitch.

Ran 50 Winchester 147g JHP without a hitch.

Ran 20 Winchester 124g PDX1 +P without a hitch.

I did add a bicycle innertube grip before shooting because I could see that the grip serrations were going to bother my hand.

No muzzle flip, not much felt recoil over my G26.

Surprise, I like the trigger!

Very pleased with my latest pocket carry. :)

Welcome to KahrTalk!

That's a lot of shooting for the first time out. Was that done without any cleaning start to finish? Glad you got a good one.

Welcome to the forum Mike, glad you're getting along well with your CM9. I'd bet money that it's going to be their top seller.

I did clean and lube the CM9 before shooting this AM.

Thanks to the inner tube grip, not a bit of sore hand.

Not even much recoil difference with the +P.

I could have shot more but shot all that I brought with me.

Thanks for all of the good replys!!!

Mike

Welcome Mike. Your experience with the CM9 mirrors mine. It has very little felt recoil considering the size of the pistol and the power of the round it shoots. Mine has been 100% reliable too.

See there, you probably did that because of what you saw in the forum. And you had a good break-in experience. And thus, it is good that you did pay attention. :)

My CM9 was a dream come true as well. I didn't need to do anything with the grip, and it didn't hurt, but then I kind of have "dragon hide" hands.

Thanks for posting Mike! I'm a proud new owner of a brand new CM9 also only one range trip with 70 rounds fired so far. I'm extremely pleased with it also and hope I continue to have the same completely satisfied experience that you've had with yours, having shot many more rounds ...with more varied ammo.

Seems like the CM9 is quickly becoming a Top Seller for Kahr ...and very competitive in the sub-compact 9mm market! Smart decision by Kahr to re-tool their mfg. process to come up with a more competitive price in that market ...all without sacrificing quality, reliability, and functionality.
