Put money down on a CM9 today. Used. $395 with a front night sight and 2mags. Gun was very clean and has not been abused. Can't wait to shoot it. Suggestions re: pocket holster, talon grips, bullets the gun might prefer? Thanks.

I have one waiting out the ten days right now. I have been told Uncle Mikes #3 will fit the CM9 better than #4, since I already have one for my S&W 642 I am going to give it a try. Still trying to decide between Desantis Pro Stealth and Crossbreed Mini tuck for IWB. I can't wait to shoot it too!

Hope you enjoy!

That would drive me crazy after I had already paid. I bet it slows down spontaneous gun purchases.

This is good. Now maybe they won't post on in the General, P and CW forums. Dang people with new CMs clutter'n up the other dedicated forums. :behindsofa:

I like a IWB holster myself so can't advise on a good pocket holster but from all accounts/experiences ...including my own ...your CM9 should have no trouble shooting any 9mm round!

Only had mine out to the range once so far ...shot Federal American Eagles ...and Winchester White Box in it, both 115 gr. NO issues with approx. 70 rounds shot so far! :)

Hey ....if your PM9 has only had about 100 rounds through it ...in great condition ...and no issues ...I'll trade you my CM9 for it ....if that will make you feel any better! :biggrin1:

I'll even let you keep the extended mag on the deal! :biggrin1:

I had a DeSantis 'denier nylon' one previously (about a couple years ago) ...I think it may have even been a Pro Stealth model ...and didn't find it nearly as comfortable as a leather IWB holster.

You might want to consider one of these two:

Both are nice. The first one made by Tagua ...and the second one a Don Hume. Both are well made ...thin ...and comfortable.

I personnally prefer the Tagua ...simple because it rides a little lower IWB ...and will accommodate a CT laser attached to my CM9 if I decide to get one. The Don Hume was a beauty but I returned it after getting home and realizing that I preferred the 'medium' Tagua that I already owned.

Thanks for the heads up on the DeSantis. I had some reservations about the nylon factor. And thanks also for the suggestions! I will look into the Tagua. I like a lower ride too. I have a Don Hume for my snubbie, and while it holds the gun firmly in place, it isn't as comfortable as I'd prefer.

I cannot tell how much the gun has been shot. Maybe some. Maybe none. Maybe 500 rounds. Should I treat it as a new gun re: break in?

You don't have to call it break in but you and it need to bond and get to know each other. Do the proper prep, nothing to lose there, lube it good, treat it like new but just shoot it and see how you get along.
