I've had my PM9 about 16 months now I think, and I have to say
everytime I shoot it, it puts a big smile on my face.

I spent part of my birthday at the range today putting my
brand spanking new Gen 4 Glock 23 birthday present through the
paces. (Back to that later)

Also took the opportunity to shoot my G26 and PM9, neither of
which has seen much range action in the last 6-8 months.

I was very surprised how easy it was for me to transition from the
Glock trigger to the smooth, relatively short double action pull of the PM9,
and I found myself once again amazed at how well that tiny PM9 absorbs
recoil, even with the couple of mags of Ranger-T 127gr +P+ I put
through. Not my carry load for the PM9 but I've always found this
particular load to be very accurate in my Glocks as well as my PM9

Compared to the current debacle with my "other" micro 9mm whose name
rhymes with "C'mon-back"....(that is still at the factory in Cocoa, Fl
getting my feed issues addressed.) Shooting that gun was brutal
compared to the PM9. There's a high likelihood that one will get
traded out as soon as it's back. The slimness is tempting but I'm
having a real hard time warming up to the way the company treats its
customers and overall QC of their products.

Having said that, I know that there are some people here that are dealing
with issues with their new Kahr's as well. so it certainly sucks to be
the one with the problem gun. My PM9 has been flawless
since day one, eating anything and everything I feed it.
I'm probably at around 650 rd right now, and I just LOVE to shoot
that thing. Even my 7rd mag works flawlessly.

I'm seriously thinking about putting the proceeds or trade credit
of the "C'monBack" towards a CM9 in the hopes my wife will be
tempted enough by it to start carrying that instead of the Ruger LC9
I got her. She's really struggling with the loooong pull of the Ruger trigger
and pulling her shots.

So anyway just a quick note about the Gen 4 G23. This is my first Gen4
Glock and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Some of the die-hard
Gen 3 lovers would say the Gen 4 was the spawn of netherworld
while the fanboys would keep talking about that Glock "Perfection".

All I can say is that mine shot flawlessly. I shot about 200rd of ball
and premium JHP, Georgia Arms Gold dot (Yah I still have a stash of that)
Corbon, and Golden Sabre. Not a single malfunction of any kind.
Just boringly reliable. One exception I have is that the new Gen 4 triggers
are obnoxiously heavy. There's no way mine was 5.5 out of the box.
So I dropped in a Lone Wolf 3.5 connecter and now it feels about
right. Can't wait to try it with the new connecter.

Woo hoo, life is good even if I'm a year closer to being an old fart:)

Gosh darn, I feel lower than pond scum. I plumb missed your birthday.

Sounds like you had a good day at the range without me.

Remember getting old is mandatory but you don't have to grow up.

My DB9 is back in Fl right now, wish I had just bought a PM9 and been done with it.
