my bet it was still a semi auto something and not a full auto, even at that one has to have some good experience to shoot a full auto with any accuracy, good reason why our M14 today are 3 shot bursts. never the leass a real tragedy and a gun on someone inside sure would have helped some over just pancakes on your plate.. 2 natioanl guards in uniform were killed..

Famoilies never recover from this type of event. ask many of the 911 families 10 years later..
