New CW9

Hello everyone. I just puchased a CW9 last week. Cleaned and shot it today. So now I have a question. When cleaning after firing I noticed a small chip in the front left side of steel slide guide. The one imbedded in the frame. Also noticed chards of plastic on the same side in the plastic slide area. Has anyone else experienced this? None of this was apparent on pre fire clean up. Thanks for your help.

that is NOT a chip due to use, nor is it a defect..... It's part of the manufacturing process. I believe it's even noted in the FAQ's on the Kahr web site.

Thanks Surv, Didn't think of looking there. Any ideas on the chards of plastic futher back on the frame? Thanks again. BTW pistol shoots beautifully.
