Any comments? Saw this on Glocktalk:

"PM9 recall update
Emailed Kahr yesterday and they said the barrel recall is still ongoing. They do NOT keep a list anymore showing which serial numbers have already had the recall done. If you bought a PM9 used, you can either do your own testing or send it to them to see if it needs to be fixed.

Kahr instructed me to try loading some Speer Gold Dots to see if the fed reliably. Not on my dime. I'll send it to them and let them handle it.

Still not comfortable with the fact that this handgun will not chamber the first round without using the slide release. I prefer the slingshot option in case it is ever needed. This gun will not allow that at all. The exception being FMJ rounds. All other hollowpoints will lodge against the feed ramp."

Sorry if this is old, it's new to me.......

Sorry if this is old, it's new to me....... an exaCT serial number recall on the PM9 listed for sure on the glock talk under the kahr section. This recall was done about 7=6 years ago, and most all returned the barrel was merely polished in the feed ramp area. very few were actualy replaced and many owners who experience no issues never even sent their barrel in, as if it ain't broke don't fix it. It was not due to a danger factor b ut for a reliability factor and it seemed that the feed ramps were not polished either good enough or polished at all. Notbing like we see today on the kahr feed ramps which are highglyt polished. If u have one in that serial number ragne andit is working perfect, assume two things. #1 it was sent in and polished.or replaced #2 it never gave an issue to the owner . ..so why do it??
