I received my P380 back from Kahr after a six week hiatus during which time the frame was replaced as well as the striker block and extractor being updated. Upon return the gun was cleaned and lubed. Took it to the range today and put 165 rounds through it. All ammunition was factory FMJ from USA Ammo, WWB, Remington UMC and PMC Bronze. I have to say that performance was much better than before, however some malfunctions were encountered. With USA Ammo I experienced 1 failure to eject - stovepipe, one failure of the slide to lock upon empty magazine, 1 instance of slide lock with additional rounds in the magazine and 1 light strike requiring a 2nd strike to fire. With WWB I experienced 4 failures to fully feed, 1 failure to eject - stovepipe and 4 instances of slide lock with additional rounds in the magazine. The Remington UMC and PMC Bronze performed flawlessly.
I also put 85 rounds of the same ammunition through a S&W Bodyguard .380 that I purchased new a week ago. The gun was cleaned and lubed just like the Kahr. It performed flawlessly with all ammunition. The Bodyguard is a great gun, but I've become spoiled by the feel and trigger pull of the Kahr so the Bodyguard will be placed on the selling block.
The Kahr P380, like my PM9, is here to stay.
