What's your method of polishing?

Just curious what everyone uses to polish their MK9's. I'm anticipating some holster wear on the slide of my Elite and would like to hear some opinions and thoughts on this. Do I polish it out every now and then, or let it show its scars?

I havent really gotten any scars and I carry it everyday, but I dont use it at the range for practice. I did hear that mothers metal polish, flitz which I havent been able to find, work well.

Fropm reading posts from those who have done it, one really should have a nice big buffing wheel as hand polishing is tuff to regulate. It can be done some have done super jobs on it. Personaly leave it alone..

Polishing is a never ending chore that will eventually wear the lettering off the slide.

If you really must... invest in a small blasting attachment for a small compressor, and occasionally blast the finish dull. You'll be able to do that almost forever, restore a homogenous finish, and not wear things to any appreciable degree.
