New P380

Got to plug.. Kahr gunsmith. My P380 started to throw ejected shells all over the place, in back, in front, over my head, off my forehead, and a hot casing in back of glasses...and get this... ejecting to my left. Gun had 400 rds thru it. Sent it back two weeks ago. Joe from Kahr called today. Frame was causing problem. Replaced frame and did some other work.Plus put 200 rds thru it to make sure it was working OK.........That Is service.. gun is being sent to my FFL holder

Interesting as it sounds like you gun is fairly new. Do you mind posting when you purchased the gun and the first few letters/digits of the serial number?

I haven't been lurking long, but it sounds like Kahr is doing more frame replacements lately. I'm waiting on delivery of one that is supposedly coming new from the factory. I'd like to have some recent serial numbers to compare it to before I take delivery. I want to make sure it did indeed just come off the line.

The last digits of the serial number don't tell us anything AFAIK - it's the first couple of letters that matter. Thanks.

Welcome aboard!

Appears a new poster has the same issue with his new P380. I thought that erratic throwing of brass was just the nature of these pocket .380s, I've learned something new. Glad to read that Kahr was able to fix the problem for you.
