I'm new to this forum and this is my first Kahr. I am a retired LEO and lifelong shooter/instructor. Anyway, took the CM 9 and fired a box of S and B ball, a box of Winchester ball, a box of Silver tips and about 50 rounds of misc. crap I had at the bottom of my ammo box. I then topped it off with a 1/2 box of old Black Tallon 147's. The weapon functioned perfectly with no, none, noda malidies. I have two complaints. First the sights were not regulated and had to be drifted and second there are a lot of sharp edges both on the mag lips and the slide around the extractor that drew blood. I used a dremmel tool with a craytex wheel and took care of the latter. That said, I would not hesitate to stake my life on the performance of this fine handgun. It shot rapid fire groups under 3'' at the ten yard line all day, and was deadly on bowling pins from 7 yards.I give it 4.5 stars. Oh the white paint on the rear sight went south some time along the way, just chipped right off. So it you guys at the factory read these reviews a few more moments on fit and finish would be appreciated. Thanks and good shooting, TonyR

Sounds like you are off to a good start. Wow, a half dozen or so different ammos and all were digested properly.
I had a few issues at the first with mine as well, and though one gripes about the tight fits and rough edges, the CM9, once broken in, and DIY touch ups, has quickly has become one of my best shooters and favorite go to guns.

Your a bucket of sunshine on a gloomy day. Amongst the few bad things we've been hearing lately it's nice to hear a good report. Fixing a few sharp edges ain't too big a deal if the gun runs like a swiss kahr? watch?.......
Glad it's working for you and glad you found us.

Stick around you ain't seen nothing yet.

Always pickin on me. I used to be a chick magnet, now I'm a magnet for verbal and mental abuse. Guess I still got a purpose for living.

Could actually use a little water around here, been dryer than a popcorn fart for quite a spell. Cooled down a bunch but still dry. I for some silly reason enjoy mowing my grass but haven't had to do it for about 3 weeks now. Too dry to grow I reckon. Good thing it ain't corn I guess, I'd be starving for sure.
