I think it's about $30 or $32 per 100 rounds... the Value Pack. I haven't bought any 9mm from Walmart since it was $9.47 a box of 50 for Winchester Champion FMJ. When I was buying 9mm, I didn't want to exceed $10 a box for FMJ. I could get it delivered to my door for that... finding a good deal online. Early last year, I would buy the 6-box limit whenever they had decent ammo and decent prices. All of their prices went up a few months ago and I just buy online now.

Yeah, I was really high on the 9mm. It all went up here... the .45 went from $32.97 to $35.97/100 and the Champion from $16.97 to $18.97/50 in .45. I've only bought a little .40 S&W from them to shoot right away with the P40.

$265 delivered, with .25 round up for the NRA.

I wanted the US made and the 165-grain FMJ. I don't reload, so the aluminum is okay.

If you live in Utah the best deals for 9 mm is in the classified section of KSL.com. You can buy Remington 115 gr fmj in 500 rounds for $109. That comes out to .21 per shell. I have seen reload on the same site for .17 per rd. At Wal-Mart in Layton Utah a box of Federal 115 fmj 9mm will cost you $11.97 for a box of 50 or about .25 a round with sales tax. I usually buy new over reload and don't bother saving brass because the .7 savings per shell for me is not worth the hassle or cost for the load equipment for the 1000 rounds I will shoot in the course of a year.

Hey! No problem... it wasn't an aggressive porn site!

I was just there looking at ammo a few days ago... they were out of one good deal I would have jumped on for .40 S&W.

If I were looking for 9mm, though, I would hope to get under $200 delivered per 1,000. Cheap 9mm for the range is out there. Sometimes it's military caches found in the Ethipioan desert or the like.:D

I think this is the best deal going right now if you only need a box or two. These are their Champion line, which Federal says is a target ammo. Slightly less velocity than their American Eagle line. These Champions are bulk packed a little better than the WWB too.

You just never know where the deals will be so you have to keep checking as many places as you have time to check. Picked this deal up last month when Cabela's was shipping free on $200+ orders. Best deal I've seen in quite some time. SELLIER&BELLOT 9MM LUGER "POLICE" HANDGUN AMMO 9MM LUGER 115GR FMJ @ $189.99 each

They were also running .380 Slivertips at less than $25 a box so making the $200 cutoff was easy. :D

That's what I do... going back to the big ammo shortage back in '09. I wouldn't pay scalpers' prices then... remember CTD selling .380 ammo for $80-$90 a box! I found some at the Outpost(Barrett's) while driving through Tennessee, returning from my daughter's marriage in southern Illinois the end of October. They had Aguila FMJ for sale and I bought 4 boxes to break in my P380, not knowing I wouldn't get it until the end of next March... with the DOA front NS! I got about $2 back in change from a $100 bill... tax around 10%!! I felt very lucky to run across that.

Buying ammo on sale.. and with free shipping and no tax really saves the bucks! I have to cut costs somehow. A range trip with about 200 rounds fired... maybe more, with several guns... usually costs $50 to $100 or more, when I'm shooting defense ammo for testing. So, I have to be looking for deals or having the businesses sending me emails about deals all of the time... and I have to be ready to jump on a deal. You can't do that a few boxes at a time, though. I may buy only 4-5 boxes of 50 with defense ammo, but I'm usually looking at half-case lots of 500 or even 1000, sometimes. I bought 3,000 rounds once of S&B .380 for resale after I had enough. I sold it cheaper than I had planned and didn't make a LOT of money, though.

Tonight at my local Walmart I got Federal 115gr FMJ 100 round value pack box for $19.97 each plus tax. A good deal for range ammo. So, I bought a few boxes.
