New CM9 Owner

Hi, Folks.

I've been a gun guy for many years with a sweet spot for Glocks, but I just bought a CM9 and I think I may just have to change my 1st choice. My gun buddies must be getting tired of hearing me compliment this pistol.

This thing is a sweet little weapon! The trigger is amazing. I've put my recommended 200 rounds through it now, and I can't get over how great this thing shoots. I confess I was a bit concerned about 9mm in a 14oz, two-finger gun, but it has been exceptional with everything I've shot (including some dirty Tula I used just to break it in) and zero failures. Even with the Tula, I can put all five rounds into a 6" circle at 25 yards, and I've had pocket pistols in the past that struggled to do that at 7 yards!

I've been searching and reading all night, and will continue for the next several days, I'm sure. In the meantime, though, can somebody point me toward a thread that will help me fix the gap at the bottom of the magazine? Even with the Pearce extension, I still have at least a mm between the frame and the bottom of the mag, and it's unsightly.

I am having the same luck with my CM9. No good fix for the mags that I have found.

There are many guns for which the bottom of the mag does not fit flush with the bottom of the grip. As Buckwheat said; "Dat's jus da way it spo'd to be." 1mm is a very small gap, and if that is all that can be found wrong with the gun, I'd be very happy and just live with it. The CM9 is a pocket gun anyway...no one is supposed to see it.

Some put an O-Ring on the mag to fill the gap.

congrats on the cm9. tell your glock gun buddies to get used to it, the compliments will only get worse as you shoot it more. i picked one up on the 8th of september and before it was primarily a glock guy myself. i feel kind of bad about it, but i haven't carried or fired any of my other guns since purchasing the cm9. i will eventually, but right now we are still getting aquainted.

I love my gen4 Glock 19 but wasn't working for me as a CCW. I bought the CM9, shoot 160 rounds through it and am amazed how it shoots for its size.

I just picked up mine today also!
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.
It's my first Kahr, hopefully it will live up to it's reputation.
