Figured id post up a pic of my newly acquired PM9. The pistol has the external safety because I live behind enemy lines in the state that requires it. Have put about 200 flawless rounds through it so far using remington fmj, speer gold dot, and Hornady critical defense. Also put some rounds of old winchester ranger JHP and fmj from my father's LE days.
Had one bad ftf resulting in the round severly nose diving. this was the second round following one successfully fired hornady round...i would guess this was shooter error...attached a crappy pic of it

u need to go to the kahgr tech section ahd hit on propper prepping of ur new kahr, that second round nose diving sounds to me like it is the magazine follower hitti9ng the magazined release button. it will tellu how to check it out easily and how to fix it easier. Possably more ropunds down range will help things along better also but u need to read that one thread and then look at the other sticky called cw45 fixes by GB 6491. He even shows a picture tutorial on this followe rthing.
In looking at that round if doubt ifit was shooter error,

Wow, a loaded chamber indicator too? Didn't know they had those.
Welcome to the land of Kahr. Don't let ole Jocko intimidate ya, he gets a bit surly when he ain't rode a couple hundred miles on his Harley.
The picture ain't all that bad, thanks for the effort.

Welcome to KahrTalk!
If I may... Run a bunch more of the CD through your gun before assuming that nose dive was your error. The Hornady CD is a fairly soft shooting round and it just might be the cause of the failure you mention. I've shot both Black Hills 124 +P and 115 EXP through my PM9 and my ejected brass flies noticeably further firing the +Ps than the EXPs. The +Ps work the slide with more snot. Both rounds however shoot reliably through the PM9.

Thanks. I'll probably be putting more rounds through it this weekend. Any suggestions for good, comfortable IWB holsters?

We all drink different kool aid and everyone had different requirements but I really like the Garrett Silent Thunder myself. I'm really not an IWB guy but they are making me one.
I now have two, one for my 1911 and one for my PM45. I wear them mostly on weekends and find them quite comfortable. They are great folks to deal with and the holster is outstanding. I made a very minor cant adjustment last night just to try and found it improved the carry position and comfort level even more.
I tend not to mess with things but sometimes it pays off to experiment a bit.
Lots of options out there.

Like Bawanna, I have the Silent Thunder. It is Kydex lined with soft premium leather to protect you gun's finish. It's very quick and easy to slip on and off, truly a "grab-n-go" holster. Ron and Sheryl Garrett are super folks who stand behind their products 100%. You can call or email them for all question before and after the sale.

I guess I better get use to it also. CA has followed them and upped the anty requiring a magazine disconnect also. I don't know the size of the market in CA for these guns, but I hope it's big enough that Kahr builds & markets it here.
