Hey everyone, this is my first Kahr. I have been carrying an LCP, but to be honest I really don't care too much for the trigger anymore, and I was going broke buying 380 ammo. Anyway, this is a sweet gun. Broke it in yesterday with 200 rounds of WWB and am happy to report no failures, and decent accuracy considering this is my first time firing a Kahr. I followed all the prep listed here short of blowing out the striker channel since I don't have any spray cleaner, I've always just used Hoppes and Rem oil. The trigger on the little gun is excellent, makes my XDm trigger feel like mushy crap. Overall I am very impressed and have already learned so much from this forum. Thanks

Nice! Welcome!

I like the trigger on the Kahr. If you want a little lighter pull you may want to look into getting a lighter striker spring (i think stock is 6lbs, wolff makes a 5lb). I put one in and it hasn't affected reliablility one bit. And it is still heavy enough for carry.

good report, glad to hear your experience has been positive. make sure you shoot a couple hundred rounds with that striker spring to ensure reliability, test it with a few of your carry loads as well just to be sure the primer hardness does not cause any soft strikes.

Welcome, this is a great place with a lot of Kahr experience. The trigger is what sold me on the CM9 over all other firearms in it's class.

Welcome. I added the CM9 to carry in place of the LCP most of the time also. Mine has been a winner.

Another 50 rounds of WWB today. Then, moved on to some Speer Gold Dots to see how this gun handles hollow points. Ended up shooting 50 rounds of them with no issues whatsoever. Man, I really love this gun. Next up is some Gold Dot +P. Will let you know how it goes. :33:

Just wondering if anybody has heard an official sales number from kahr. How many CM9s have been sold/shipped?

i was wondering the same thing. it has to be one of their top sellers this year. i might have to pick up another before they jack up the price tag.

Ok, it's official, I absolutely love this gun! Took the kids to the park yesterday, carrying the CM9 in a Theis Holster wearing my regular sized T-shirt, jeans and a regular belt. Absolutely no printing, no sagging, no discomfort. Even after running around chasing two hyper boys all day, I barely even noticed it. I got rid of my LCP, which I bought only because I thought I couldn't carry a larger caliber comfortably. I have a nemesis for it, but after carrying IWB all day I doubt I will ever pocket it again.
