If Kahr was to build a cheaper small 45 like the 9mm would you purchase one? I think they would have another winner1

Jocko, explain to me what is the attraction in Jennifer Anniston? I have always regarded her as no better than average looking—plain. My idea of the most beautiful girl ever was Donna Dixon appearing in a negligee in the Bosom Buddies sitcom, and I have always envied Dan Ackroid for making her his life partner and keeping her!

I couldn't find a shot of her in a negligee, but here she is in the pilot episode in a leotard:

Always liked Jennifer Aniston myself.
Never heard of Donna Dixon and didn't know she was hitched to Ackroid.

Seems nice though.

If Kahr does release a CM45 I hope they get it CA approved. I may have to sell stuff to do it, but I'd be on that puppy real fast. Bad part is the PM/CW45 is not on the approved list and anything new will have to be baby proofed: Loaded chamber indicator, external safety, mag disconnect.

If I had a few bucks I'd shop around the LEO's that hang at the range. You can buy the "bad boys" from a LEO without any list nonsense. Hmmm, wonder if I can get into the academy?

I didn't know who Jennifer Aniston was until we did the movie with her last year. I had to google her to find out what she looked like. What's a Donna Dixon?

BTW, to back on target, I'll be the first in line for a CM45.

That's right! I had forgotten you're a movie star, too, and get to rub elbows and other parts with famous actors and the like!

How did she react when you googled her, oh crap that's computer talk, not like a grope or anything. Thought I was responding to Jocko.

I remember you saying she was personable and sat around and drank coffee with the regular folks where as Allen Alda was rather stand offish and went directly to his movie star trailer.

Liked him in MASH, not so much after your first hand report.

Well, she had a couple of cups with me, but I'm not sure I fit the category of "regular folks". The regular folks might take offense at that. You're right about Alda.

Despite Jocko's sick and rather graphic sicko talk I'd love to share a couple cups with her. I can only judge by TV and the tattle tail rags but she seems like a genuine nice lady to me.

Course if she isn't I could just ride her like I stole her and, I gotta cut back my hanging out with Jocko time, bad influence and my spelling abilities are rapidly deteriorating too. Next I'll be looking at mags with pictures and few words. Probably Harley magazines..........

Jocko's the same age as me - Aniston is 13 years younger than Vickie - Vickie's too young for me. You figure it out.

I don't own a Harley but I do own a CBR600. Take my word for it, it ain't no substitute.

I got this very unexpected email from Kahr today.......

http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k599/mwong61/Capture.jpg

Seems like it's way late to be "introducing" the CM9.

BUT what I found interesting was the verbage.....

"Kahr Arms is pleased to kick off their newest series of Kahr pistols - the
CM series. The new line begins with the Kahr CM9093 which is based on
Kahr’s most popular 3” barrel 9mm model the PM9093. "

I think this pretty much confirms that there will be more CM's coming
and no reason to believe they WOULDN'T take advantage of the popularity
of the PM45 in a more affordable package. Heck, the PM45's sell like
hotcakes around here at $700+.

give um time, I prefer to call it A LOWER PRICED 45. Cheaper reminds me of kel tec's.

Think in terms of feature limited, value marketed.....:D

I'd be seriously tempted, but I dunno why....2 pm45's and I only got so many pockets to carry in

I think it would be a good seller.

Here's the thing - WHY would they do it? What other small 45 is kicking their kollective kahr keister? Maybe just sales stimulation in a slow market.

There are generally five ways to stimulate sales without lowering price.

1. Open new markets through advertising. Kahr is doing "ok" with ads, but ad money is expensive money, you put a lot in, dont see direct return on investment.

2. You can just lower the price - a bad move, but sometimes needed. Very hard to ever raise the price again, creates customer disloyalty, not a a very smooth situation to be in.

3. You can RAISE features - if the market will support it.

4. You can effectively lower the price by offering a feature restricted item - which Kahr is doing with the CM's

5. You can effectively lower the price by including giveaways and rebates - something Kahr has also done with the free magazine special offer. Rebates are a way to just give back money... not that good, but free offers cost them much less in terms of dollars, than the perceived value of the item they're giving away (like a magazine). "A $45 value!" for a magazine you can buy for $30, and that cost them far far far less....

So ends marketing 102a

Wait... I said without lowering the price, ditch #2, and make it four ways
