Picked up a CM9 yesterday, getting a replacement already

I was cleaning my brand new CM9 that I picked up last night tonight when the cloth I was using got snagged on the slide near the firing pin.
On closer inspection I saw what appeared to be a crack in the metal.
I took out a magnifier and there is indeed a crack or incomplete machining at the end of the slide rail on one side.
I was really looking forward to shooting it tomorrow, but will be bringing back to my FFL instead. I know it will take at least until Monday to get a replacement.
My first experience with Kahr is not that great. I certainly hope it gets better.
Just my luck I guess this week has been nothing, but bad luck for me.

I don't have a camera available and I doubt it would come out good with a camera. I had to use magnification to even be sure it was a crack.
I can't tell if it is in the side as what I see is in the actual rail. The very end comes to a point and the point is sloppily bent up like it wasn't cut right. Just behind where the point begins is the crack.

I took it back to the dealer today and he is sending it in for replacement. He looked it over and agreed that it was an issue.
I would have taken a picture, but at the moment I don't have a camera.
I should have a new one by Wed. of next week.
Crappy thing is that the rest looked great and I even tested the mag drop and it worked perfectly.
