Has anyone heard of these or used one before? I stumbled across it doing a random search on Amazon for 'PM9' and voila.

Kind of reminds me of a late 80's early 90's PDA case. :)
Here's their site, they make them for other guns as well:

I guess it'd work for those feeling they'll not need a fast draw. Not knocking the choice as many are in need of deep cover over ready access. So many compromises however we choose to carry...

Wonder what it looks like under the flap. If it was mostly cut away so you could lift the flap and get a grip rather than pull it out with thumb and finger it might be very viable.
Might be nice if the flap opened away and down rather than up to speed things a bit too. Still a 100 times better than driving home to get it out of the dresser drawer, ya know.
I always try to remind myself that I'm not gonna try and quick draw on anybody. I'm hoping that if I'm concerned I'm just gonna have the gun in my hand and surprise em so this would work. Course the best laid plans don't always pan out so you gotta be ready for that too.

Video on YouTube, they address the trigger issue was well - pretty well thought out really.

Exactly what I was hoping to see. I think it has merit. And the upward flap actually might be a good thing, you can lift and draw in the same motion rather than down and then up. Have to practice a straight up to the arm pit draw to make sure you clear the case before you go forward. Good concept.
Wonder if they make one for a full size 1911? Just kidding...........

With Ipads and Kindles and other larger devices, the size of the case fits in the modern world.

I like it. I might be able to get a few M14 mags in there too. I'm especially fond of the plaid like one. Stylish.

Thanks, I saw a draw smoother and quicker than I anticipated. I did not like how far the grip on the draw was/is from a good firm shooting grip. I'd like to see the thumb in position and the two fingers wrapped around the grip as the draw is being made, ideally before clearing all the leather.

Thunder,
You know, I looked on the manufacturer's website and could only find it available for the LCP. I did a search for PM9 and couldn't find anything. I wonder if that Amazon retailer is misrepresenting the product, because the case is very specifically fitted to the LCP....
Oh, I see from other pics that the inner mold that fits the LCP has been removed, making ample room for the PM9. But there is nothing there to keep the gun positioned properly, unless the dimensions of the case are so close that it will stay standing upright on its muzzle?.... Yes, it is.
Not a bad idea.
I remember standing behind a man at a bank a few years ago. He had a cell phone, a PDA, a pager nd I'm not sure what else on his belt, and a Bluetooth piece in his ear. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked how long ago he got assimilated by the Borg! :biggrin1:

Here are the Kahr ones on their site:

Sig, Glock, Taurus, S&W and Kimber are just a few others.
Supposedly the bottom is form fitted for the gun, I'd imagine the barrel and trigger guard.

Oh. Thanks! I watched the Youtube video and got directed to www.thepocketsolution.com. They only have one for the LCP, with $2 shipping.

Haha yeah, I saw that site too - they sell on eBay and I think it's a knock-off of sorts because the log on the front is different.

Thunder,
We are both lefties, so I think I would want it with the metal belt clip instead of the loop. We have to undo our belts from all but one belt loop to put a holster on (putting the belt on the other way isn't an option because that is the way women wear their belts, and their zippers work the other way, too).

Yeah, good point... although I did think about that and in some ways it's a benefit. I don't know how many times a pager has come off my belt because it slides off the end due to the weight of it, for example. At least I know if I had a belt loop on my left side the chances of that happening are slim and none - but like you said, taking it off does require near complete removal of the belt itself.
My only concern would be how much farther out would it stick vs the belt loop version.

Hmmm, interesting. Woman's shirts button up backwards, zippers are backwards, they wear their belts backwards......there's a hidden message here someplace. I know not all woman are left handed..........
I think we've stumbled onto another one of lifes mysteries.

Bawanna, you don't try and figure out women - it's a rule you learn by the time you're like 17, but struggle with until your early 30's. You then realize you don't try and figure it out, just accept that there is something different about them (other than the obvious).
It's life biggest mystery, and mere mortals will never live long enough to crack the code.

Yeah, it probably wouldn't be as rock steady as with the belt loop, it would stick out and wobble around more. WTH, it is meant for carrying a gun perfectly incognito, so you wouldn't need to be taking it off and on a lot. Just leave the gun in a gun safe in the car if you're going into a no guns place.
Another option for us and the belt issue is wearing a cross draw holster. Only trouble is it is harder to conceal because you have to wear it forward of your hip in order to reach it. But just take the belt out of one loop to put it on or take it off. Here is one I like from Ross Leather. This site has nice pictures and a good write-up, but DO NOT attempt to do business with them. They have a B.B.B. rating of 'F', won't respond to emails, won't answer the phone and you can't leave a message because the voice mailbox is full. http://www.ccwsupply.biz/RossM22SCPAGE.htm
Here is the Ross site. You can call and get a deal over the phone off of the website price. Not as low as the other site, but I wouldn't trust their pricing. http://www.rossleather.com/m22lc-open-bottom-leather-lined-low-ride-crossdraw-field-holster-p-125.html

You exactly right of course but I sort of take it as a personal challenge. I have very little confidence I'll ever figure it out but in weak moments I feel the need to make the attempt.
I'll abandon further attempts for the moment and return to my previous mission which is trying to figure out what purpose on earth frogs serve other than legs for people who aren't very hungry and like to eat weird stuff that got to stab first.
