Wow, I'm a little surprised at the hate and ridicule directed towards these kids. I commend them for getting off their asses and protesting!

Is everyone happy that Wall Street and the Fed blew up the economy via a massive property bubble and credit expansion? Is everyone ok with the fact that not a single person has gone to prison? Are you all cool with investment banks privatizing profits and socializing losses? Everyone is cool with TARP, TALF, QE1, QE2, and soon to come QE3?

Do you all like the inflation we're seeing in commodities? Does everyone want to work for Wal Mart? We're all ok with American corporations outsourcing jobs to China, and third world countries, to exploit cheap labor while we lose all our jobs here at home? Has anyone tried to send a kid to college lately and observed the inflated tuition costs?

I hope before this is all said and done, we'll unite as Americans and realize that the war is between the oligarchs (1%) and the serfs (99%). Otherwise, we're going to eat each other based on petty differences drawn along ethnic and party lines, while rich and powerful laugh at us.

I don't pretend to know the answers, but again, I commend anyone for getting off their butt and making their voice heard. We're all being slaughtered via inflation and low interest rates and the storm is coming for you too. Good luck getting any returns on your savings. Good luck retiring when you can't afford to eat, drive, or heat and cool your home.

As far as I'm concerned, there should be a banker or politician hanging from every light pole on Wall Street!!

It is interesting how positive and supportive the news coverage is about these kooks. And the Obama administration have voiced their support. In the mean time, intelligent and civilized people gather at Tea Party rallies and are called terrorists, racists, Astro-turf, SOBs, and told they can ALL go to hell. Wow it seems I've once again been remiss in my duties here. I tend to avoid threads which I forsee as tumultuos, political, money related, free loaders and such. Actually these are the ones I guess I should pay more attention to. I shall endeavor to at least make a casual visit to everything in the future.

This is a genuine ugly thread from start to finish and seems to be getting uglier by the minute.

Toes have been stepped on, insults traded and genuine not nice stuff. While I certainly have very strong feelings about some of this stuff (why I avoid them) we just don't do uncivil around here.

So you guessed it. I'm pulling the plug on this one.
