Anybody ever use 9mm Speer GDHP 124 g +P ammo in their P9/CW9? I currently run hornady 115 g FTX and it likes that but I use the Speer 124gr +P load in my GLock 19 and I was hoping to standardize my ammo so I could leverage bulk purcahses. I didnt know if the recoil would be too snappy for the smaller P9, how the accuracy was, or if anyone had any feeding issues since it does seem to be a little longer than the FTX.

I haven't tried it but I bet it would work just fine. Lots of grip on the CW models so I wouldn't think recoil would be too bad.

I've never been a fan of +P but regular 124 gr Gold Dot or Federal HST runs great in mine.

I load Speer GD 124g +P in my XD9 for home defense. I can't tell any significant difference in recoil between the GD and WWB or Federal 115g FMJ in that gun. I haven't shot the GD in my CM9, but I'm looking forward to it when it's fully broken in.
I'll bet the P9/CW9 would shoot the GD 124 +P fine.

I haven't fired +P Gold Dots out of my CW9 yet but HST 124gr +P ran just fine. Federal BPLE 115gr +P+ also ran fine. I couldn't tell a helluva lot of difference with these and standard pressure rounds.

The Speer Gold Dot 124 grain HP +P is my load of choice for both my PM9 and M&P 9C. Recoil in my PM9 is manageable and function is flawless.

I run GD 124+P, and 147gr +p HST in my cw9..both run fine
