I would like to slightly enlarge the grip of my PM9. I do not want finger grooves so I have zeroed in on Qwik Grip. My KAHR search shows three different sizes (#2,3,&3A) are being used by members. Which size is the correct one? It is listed as 3A on there website but many members are smarter than the manufacturer.

Item: LWD-QG3

Price: $9.99

Yeah, my CM9 is wearing a size 3A, but I saw a post here where he said a size 3 fit his perfectly. Maybe he got one of those relabeled 3As from Lone Wolf. But believe me; the 3A fits the small Kahrs perfectly.

i think the qwik grip is the best looking slip on grip out there for the kahr. if i was going to go the slip on route, that's what i'd do. order from lonewolf, i get most of my glock supplies from them. it will guaranteed ship next day and you can pay as little as $3 for usps first class shipping + insurance. top notch company in my books.

Anyone know what size the CW9 would take? Web site says size 3 for full size. Would the CW9 be considered full size?
thanks

I get confused with their sizing. Lone Wolf Dist doesn't have a "3A", but do a "3" and that fits my PM9 well. The CW9 is enough bigger that I doubt mine (whatever it is called) would fit it.
I wore out a Hogue Jr grip and had to trim it etc. This is a serious grip and I really like it a lot.

old lincoln, please give a little more insight into the differences between the hogue jr and quik grip. based on your experience with both, which do you prefer and why? i would think either of these grips would tend to grab your shirt-tail and therefore, be more likely to reveal your weapon when carrying iwb as opposed to the 'slicker' stock grips. pocket carry could also present a problem if these grips are pretty sticky???
i'm looking at an enlarged grip for my mk9 (and a pm9 when i buy) as my rather large hand needs something thicker to grip. hmmm, that doesn't sound good. please, don't go there....it's too easy.

I like the look and feel of the Qwik-Grip on my CM9. It is not sticky enough to grab your shirt tail when carrying IWB, but it does hinder getting a grip when carrying in a pocket (with or without a holster) - you just can't slide your fingers around it as easily as the stock grip. I am thinking about using it for the comfort factor during range trips, and taking it off for daily carry. But my hands are very small, so the stock grip size is fine for me.

Another point: when I got my Qwik-Grip, it was kind of dry and whitish looking. After putting it on my gun, I rubbed it with a silicone impregnated cloth. That freshened up the rubber, made it darker in appearance - matching the frame color better, made the whitishness vanish and I think it removed some of the tackiness, as well.

I use the Hogue Jr on a PM9. It definitely hinders draw from a pocket in tighter fitting slacks like jeans. In cargo shorts or Khakis, though, it is irrelevant, to me.
One important thing though ... I kept a "Jr." grip on my MK9 until I took it off for a deep cleaning and found pots of surface rust and resulting pitting on the front strap area of the grip. This was the result of the rubber grip trapping moisture. I caught it before it was a big deal, and cleaned it up, but I haven't put a rubber grip back on. I think, maybe a piece of tape, or something tacky like that, under the rubber to seal the surface of the stainless would prevent the issue from recurring. But, as yet, I haven't tried anything.
