The Occupy Wall Street crowd would never understand that picture...never.

We've got a pretty good bunch of people servinging the military. Yesterday, my wife & I sent a care package to a squad of Marines in Bassackwards Afganistan. They are still there and they sure could use a bit of cheering up from all of us that enjoy our freedoms.
A little Preachy?? Yup. It's someting I have strong feelings about.;)

I saw J.R. Martinez on with Jay Leno. He's an inspiration. I posted that Honor poster on his facebook page and thanked him for his service and inspiration. A lot of guys would have felt too sorry for themselves and given up. In 2003 or 2004 he was 19 and driving a HumVee in Iraq and drove over a mine or IED and was trapped in the vehicle with their supplies burning and exploding... awake the whole time he was burning.

but basicallay that litlte bastard hasn't a clue as to why he is sititng and the rest is standing. It had to come from across the dinnig room table with a nice set of a-shole parents.

Now when I was in grade schgool 60 years ago, the teacher (nuns) would have just came up to my desk and cuffed me across the back of the head and ol jocko would have gotten the point real fast, course back 60 yearsw ago. "parents" were not a-sholes either..

Wow, two great photos, especially the first one on Honor. Sometimes a picture can capture the moment when words are just inadequate. Thanks for sharing.

No credit to me. I hope the originators of these very inspirational pieces don't mind others passing them along and sharing the messages.
