Sorry just got the cm9 a few days ago and want to properly disassemble it without damaging it. Im used to glock, so i always pull trigger first.

Remove the slide stop and then pull the trigger before or as you slide the slide forward and off.
The manual has procedures and the videos at Kahr.com are very helpful as there are several things that can be done incorrectly and cause a lot of trouble.

See the take down video.
Welcome to kahrtalk and I hope you enjoy your new pistol.

After.
This is how I do it.
Clear gun... x2
Retract slide to alignment marks
Push out slide stop
I let the slide move forward but only to it's normal position, then while holding it there I pull and hold the trigger all the way back
Now slide the slide off the frame

In fact I just did this not more than an hour ago on my PM9 after coming back from the range this afternoon. Make sure after you remove the slide stop that you move the slide to its normal position before pulling the trigger. If it's off a little bit, pulling the trigger won't disengage the slide.
