i just got my p-45 back from kahr...

per the letter kahr sent with the gun:
Action Taken: replaced slide stop spring, slide stop, mag catch, follower, recoil spring. lubed. test fired good.


i reset the break-in count due to the new springs. so far there has been no problem with premature slide release. break-in count: 50 flawless rounds.

the slide release would trip prematurely when inserting a loaded magazine.

My P45 does that also.

I kind of like it that way though.

mine was closing prematurely, not loading a round and scraping the casing.one trip to kahr fixed it though. now it's flawless.
