I bought a CM9 from an online dealer. I already have a CW9 and love it. I took the CM9 to the range and about every 4-5 rounds it would fire but the slide would not cycle. I had to manually eject the empty casing. I was very disappointed, took it home to clean and noticed immediately that the guide rod spring was showing at the end of the guide rod hole in the slide and the guide rod was missing the end cap. I called Kahr and spoke with Rich and he immediately said "that is not right and we will send you a box to return the gun to us." After further discussing the problem he said he would send me a new guide rod assembly to try first if I wanted. If it still wasn't right they would take it back to fix it. I agreed and in a few days the new guide rod assembly came. I put it in and went back to the range. This time I put over 250 rounds of both HP and hard ball with NOT ONE malfunction. Rich was just great and never hesitated to let me know that one way or the other they would make it right.
I am really happy with the little gun just as I have been with the CW9
