What exactly are you guys talking about when the round in your CM9 "nose dives"? Is it not feeding the round into the chamber? Just curious becasue I haven't had that issue at all. I've used Federal, Remington, Hornady and Speer Gold Dot (my favorite) with no problems.

It isn't in the mag but not yet in the chamber either. It didn't get up the feed ramp. One of our members has a YouTube explaination. Rounds normally briefly assume a nosedive angle but ride up the ramp and all is well. Excessive angles, an unpolished ramp and other gremlins cause problems. My PM9 suffered two occurences of nosedives jamming the action in about 600 rounds. Never with HPs so I have ignored it, especially since it isn't a carry piece.

I had my first the other day when shooting my XD9, coupled with a Failure to Extract (FTE) of the previously fired round. The casing of the fired round was still in the chamber and the nose of the 'new' round was stuck below it on the feed ramp. The slide was stuck back, but not locked, jammed up against the casing of the new round.

On my CM9 the nose of the next round gets trapped beneath the feed ramp and the slide gets stuck after moving the back of the round about 1/16th of an inch forward in the magazine. To clear I drop the mag.

My PM9 nose dived with Speer Lawman FMJ - I can't figure out why - it shoots everything else (and I mean everyting!) perfectly
