Alaska's not in there? Must be because we've beaten the Badgers too frequently in NCAA hockey.

If you traveled by car, you wouldn't be able to carry through Canada! But then again, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are on there so what the heck do I know.:7:
Or Illinois.

Fwiw: from www.handgunlaw.us (http://www.handgunlaw.us)
The WI DOJ will publish a list of states that have a background check requirement as states they will honor. The Admin rules adopted by the DOJ could change that requirement some. We will just have to wait and see The WI DOJ will put out a list of the states they honor. WI does not have Universal Recognition of all other states Permit/Licenses. The following list of states is not who WI honors but a list of states that require background checks to obtain a Permit/License in that state. So it looks like in the near future WI should honor many but maybe not all of the states listed below. Not all of these states will honor WI. This list will be updated when WI publishes the names of the states they will honor.
Alaska Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Connecticut Florida Georgia Idaho Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Nebraska Nevada New Jersey New Mexico New York North Carolina North Dakota Ohio
Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Virginia Washington West Virginia Wyoming
Jocko, where did you get your list?
New York does not recognize any other state....none..nada...zip. A NY state permit is not even good in NY City!!!! If you're Law Enforcement, tough luck... your badge is no good. If you own the NY Times, no problem, you're granted a permit for life (and I ain't kidding about this.)
Illinois and Califonia are still leading NY in aiding criminals, but NY is working hard to catch up.
Hurray for the great state of Indiana. Real America.:D

That story about the NY Times editor is a classic! Speaking of Indiana I still wish Mitch Daniels would have jumped into the fray. Or jocko.

I havemore skeletons in my closet than our local graveyard. NO THANK YOUY. Mitch is a good guy, a real harley Rider to, He has sponsored the govonersw ride the past 3years for benefit of National guard. we had over 800 bikes this year on his 250 miles over night ride. I don't think the fire was in his belley for a national political run, not sure he could have wonit either. The media today and the opposinhg side is just in a self destruct mnode when you put ur ame in office and I think he had had enough of that.
Indiana is very liberal with their gun laws. One of the reasons we are not accepted by other ccw permit states is that we don't have any testing or shooting requirements. Just be over 18k, no criminal record and ur good to buy a permit, be it 4year or lifetime (which is the firstin the nation also). but some states feel we are not strict enough on our permitting so they won't reciprocaste with us even though we do with ANY STATE that issues...

Georgia doesn't have any testing or class requirements either, but 25 or 30 states reciprocate with us. I wish we had that lifetime permit - we're limited to five years, and unless it's been changed, a renewal is just like getting a new permit.

I still have my Georgia carry permit and it is reciprocated in NC, but the address isn't correct. I haven't gotten my NC one yet. You have to pay $55-80 for a class, and then a lot more money for the finger prints, background check and fee for the permit. And it has to be renewed every few years, too. I'll get a round tuit.
