It is a red dot with a variable dot size (http://www.bushnell.com/products/scopes/riflescopes/reddot/730001/). I also like that it has an automatic power down feature.
My really inexpensive red/green dot on my PC4 died yesterday at the range. It was my first sight of that type. I actually liked it, except the dot was the size of a ten inch target at 50 yards!
This one seems to solve the issue of dot size for various ranges. Of course, one with a cross hair is probably just as good. Thoughts on this or something else I can get for about $200 or less?
