Hello all,

I wanted to intriduce myself. I have been around guns for years for work and for pleasure. Mainly a Sig, Glock and Beretta guy but had an affair with HK for about 3 years several years ago. Anyway, I made a local trade here in Virginia of one of my Glock 17s for a K9 Stainless with 3 mags and a holster. The gun looks great. It's only the second Kahr I've owned. I had a T9 briefly about 7 years ago.

Is there anything I should know or look out for with my K9? I believe it is of older production. I will check the SN when I get home tonight, but from looking at the Kahr website for night sights, I believe my rear sight channels are the older style. I love the weight of the gun and look forward to shooting it. Seems like the weight will make a gun this small a pleasure to shoot.

Hi, welcome to KahrTalk!

Relatively new to Kahrs and only have a PM9 so can't speak to the K9. Would like to see a K45 someday. :)

Welcome to the forum, wacopolumbo! You should check out the stickies in the Kahr-Tech (http://kahrtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) forum: "Proper prep of a new Kahr" (good for used guns, too) and "Kahr Lube Diagram".

Your K9 appears to be in very nice condition.

I bought a T9 from a guy living in Hampton, Va., a retired M.P., in a FTF exchange in Richmond, about 7 years ago. Would that be you by any wild chance?

No, not me. But that is a coincidence. At the time I was stationed in South Carolina.

Nice looking gun, Waco, and you have quite a stable of ponies to choose from. Only thing you need now is to stop into Bawanna's Famous Grip Emporium (http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=5082) and look at some new clothes for that puppy.

Thanks OldLincoln,

Those grips look nice. Yeah, my wife was a little surprised last night when she looked in the gun locker. She told me, "I thought we only had like 20 guns..." Too damn funny. She didn't get mad, she was just more surprised. I have a keeper.

Anyway, I do keep a good carry rotation. It gets expensive keeping them all fed though!
