My only hang up with my PM9 was solved tonight by one of your members posting the spring mod he did...That gritty scratchy feel when racking the slide really bothered me! Simply bending the front coil a little flat at the open end of the recoil spring did the trick! Now racking the slide feels like two greased pieces of glass sliding on one another. Wow what a difference! 2min job start to finish and now not only is it smoother, its easier to manipulate the slide and also slingshot:biggrin1::cool:

I believe that he is refering to the thread titled"CM9 Hitch/Snag Racking Slide" in the CM and PM pistols area.
It talks about opening up the last coil of the recoil spring a bit so that the cut edge of the spring doesn't drag on the recoil spring guide.
