I'm never unmoved by such selfless acts. There have been way too many that were never reported or didn't receive any acknowledgment at all, let alone enough gratitude and honor. My eyes watered.

Thank you for posting that link. What an incredible American hero. And to think he may not have received the Medal of Honor if these deeds of heroism were not confirmed by another Green Beret who they tracked down in 1980 living in the Figi Islands. If you’re looking for a book that will rock you, read “Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty”. I was only able to read a few excerpts (I borrowed it while at deer camp) but it instilled an even greater admiration for veterans who have faced combat and a greater appreciation for all our men & women in the armed services. These stories of honor & heroism should be requisite reading for all our children getting bombarded with left-wing b.s.

That put a lump in my throat. IMO, that gentlemen is the true definition of what a hero is; By saying that I'm in no way trying to take anything away from any selfless act performed by anyone else, but It would've been just to easy to give up it seems from the accounts in the video, instead he kept pushing forward. Amazing, truly amazing.
As a side note; I wish that anyone that stood in the way, or delayed that man being awarded the Medal Of Honor, the worst bad luck that could befall anyone. And I feel good about sayin it.:D
