Now that the CM9 is out and successful has anyone heard if Kahr plans on coming out with a CM40 in the near future?

I don't think there's much doubt that we'll see a CM40 and CM45 eventually, maybe at the Shot Show. [I've seen some talk about a CM50 on the forum, but I'll skip that one :D] My only reservation is that I don't know what the sales of the CM9 did to the sales of the PM9 and how Kahr feels about it. Personally, I'm waiting for a CM45 to replace the stolen PM45. I can wait because I have nine other 45's to play with in the meantime.

next year we will see something. even in one of kahrs adds they state the cm9 in their new series, so take the word series to be the 40 and 45 in due tme... Do I thimnk the cm9 has cut into the PM9 sales? Indeed, is kahr make more money by having both offerngs, u betcha.. I think they will keep the cm series siple with no bells and whistles available for it, so if u want more, u buy the PM9. Mayb ein the ast the price of a PM series scared some away so it could be why the cm series is makeing such good head way...Its gonna happen, u can take that to the bank,
I can't iagine a cm50 though. the 40 sends people to the aspirin bottle the 50 would??????

I bet a CM40 would be a good gun to take up to Magnaport. I had my pm9 magnaported and it made that gun even more awesome to shoot. I have to think it would make even a bigger difference in the 40 cal.

I'm with Jocko. I expect there will be a 40 and a 45 at some point, and as far as cutting into the PM9 sales, maybe somewhat, but the CM9 also lets people like me into a Kahr. I had to stretch to get the $450 together for it.

Also, I must add that I am just as happy if they don't announce anything until they're ready to go with it. I've had experiences with other mfr's revealing things too early, and it's just frustrating.
