I just purchased a new cm9. I had several feeding issues before the 200 round break in period but now the gun runs great. I have some concerns with the magazine though. The baseplate does not stay in place and slides almost halfway open while i shoot. The other issue is something is carving two lines on the inside and outside of the magazine on the primer side. I have contacted kahr but have no response yet. Has anyone else had this issue?

Welcome to the forum Tallen. Some have had this problem and Kahr will replace your mag. Others here have solved the problem themselves by making the base rails holding the plate a bit tighter and/or deepening the dimple with a punch. I'm sure one of the guys will be along shortly as they are really good about helping.

Kahr buys their mags from a mag vendor and they do have an issue now and then. Once they are right they stay right but out of the box they can be questionable. You CM is arguably Kahrs best model to date. They have been excellent out of the box with proper cleaning and lube as found in the Kahr-Tech section.

U send it back and I'll b waiting up to 4 weeks for a return. I did. Anyway do what I did. Pinch the floorplate rails a bit with pliers and that'll solve it.
