LOVE this holster... very comfortable, rides high but not too high, conceals easily and holds the gun nice and tight to my body.

That's cool. I'll bet that wide belt loop keeps it stable? I almost bought one of those thinking that was a leather enclosed metal clip, and that you could clip it on and take it off easily. But I talked with someone at Galco and he straitened me out. You see, I am left handed, so putting a holster like that on involves removing my belt from all but one belt loop, and visa versa.

I'm left handed as well, and what you dislike about it is something I thought was a bonus.
My holster doesn't need to come on and off, and having a solid mount without it falling off the belt (right hander) gives me some added security knowing it's not just going to slip off at any given time.

Why not thread your belt around in the opposite direction?
Nice looking holster. I've used several Galcos and I've been happy with all except the newer plastic Matrix styles.

I was amazed at how small it is, yet completely covers the slide. In person it looks much smaller than the photos - to the point I could disarm my weapon (lock it in the car safe) and continue on if necessary (post office, etc).

That's another way of looking at it. I always liked the look of the Stinger holster. That's why I was looking so seriously at it.
You know, I even tried reversing my belt, but couldn't get comfortable with it. Also, that's the way women wear their belts. So.....
I have noticed that, with an OWB holster, I can feel the weight of the gun hanging there, but with my IWB holster, the weight disappears. I think it is because the belt presses it against my body and it becomes like a part of my body. Not that it is uncomfortable, but I can feel the gun there more with the OWB. Have you noticed this?

Not with this holster/gun... it's pretty much non-existent. Now my old 1911, XDM Compact and P-01 were noticeable.
A good gun belt helps and is almost a necessity with with a larger firearm, it distributes the weight farther around your waist.

looks kind of thick, do you have a profile pic of the width it adds to the gun?

Added to the original post, it's got to be thinner than it looks because it's very form fitting.

it looks much thinner in that pic then it did in the others... how's retention?

Retention seems to be good, enough to where it's not coming out unless I want it too an loose enough to where it will if I need it.

I hear ya, i always try running with my holster jic i need to move to cover before drawing or for some other tactical purpose... I have had my share of scares with a non retention owb holster almost coughed up my gun when I used to work armored cars back in the day... It had a single snap but sometimes it would get popped when moving in and out of the truck.

For that I love my Blackhawk Serpa for my XDM, but they seem to be somewhat anti-Kahr or don't think they would sell enough to make it worthwhile. That said, it's a pretty bulky holster, but I'd really like to see something similar for our little Kahr's.
I think this one is a winner, though. Been wearing it since about 5pm so it's too early to say for sure... so far so great!
