Hi all
I read that the CM9 should have its recoil springs changed every thousand rounds.
On Kahrs site they only sell the whole assembly and it is $23.00
I found the springs only on wolf springs site for 8.99.
I shoot alot and will probably have to change springs twice a year so the cost matters to me.

They only list the PM9 but I think the springs are the same as the CM9
I have 2 questions

1. is it okay to just change the springs and if so how do you get the top one off.
2 They list a standard 18LB spring and a extra power 20.5 lb spring which is better?

Personally if they are the same and I can't say if they are or not, it would make sense though, I would just replace the outer larger non captive spring and leave the other as is. The large spring takes most of the brunt.
I know that is what several folks here do with no issues including Jocko with a mountain of 9 thru his PM9.
I think 1000 rounds is a bit premature for scheduled replacement but they are cheap and if that's the round count you want to go with that's ok too. I think 1500 to 1800 or 2000 is the recommended number but I haven't looked at a manual for awhile.
I'd go the extra power spring myself but am anxious for others input on that as well. I think it helps save the gun from a beating but either will do the job.

Jocko says they are not the same, and that's all I know about that.

I suspect Wolffe will make those springs one of these days. Lots of CM's out there and there will be a need. I wonder why they wouldn't fit. Anybody have a CM and a PM to compare?

If you want to buy me a cm9 I'll compare it to my pm9. I'm very helpful.
