Well I just returned home from LGS and the outdoor range
185 flawless rounds through my new to me CM9
100 rounds American Eagle 124gr no hiccups!!
50 rounds of Fiocchi 147 grain subsonics no hiccups !!
35 rounds of Speer 115 gdhp mixed in no issues at all!!
magazine is a little tight to release.

I disassembled the pistol at the range sprayed the slide and striker port with brake cleaner and let dry, lubed all areas as recommended in tech section with regular old gun oil (hopps) Thanks to all on this forum for the great info
Now it is time to find a holster or two (OWB) and some reloading supplies and ammunition. This CM9 will be an awesome CCW

Due to the MRS being a good cook the IWB is not as comfortable as they used to be, but thank you

Look at the Galco Stinger at Optics Planet (http://www.opticsplanet.net/galco-stinger-belt-holster-kahr-pm9-sg460b.html). A real nice, compact OWB.

JFootin, you now prefer the Galco over the Tagua? I have kind of narrowed an OWB down to these two. It's been hard to decide since you have said you like the Tagua so much.

Or maybe this is the "shoebox full of holsters" syndome... ;)

Yeah, its a shoebox full of holsters thing! I still like my Tagua and haven't purchased a Stinger. But Thunder71 just bought one and we were discussing it. He said it is very stable and holds the gun close to the body. And it uses 1 wide belt loop instead of 2 slots, which on the Tagua I have to put one on each side of the side belt loop of my jeans. A lot of positioning and threading of my belt through slot and belt loop and slot, and this is complicated by me being a lefty. Seems like it would be easier to put the Stinger on and get it positioned correctly. (Thunder is a lefty, too.)

What can I say? My moods change from day to day. :p

I have a PM in to a forum member about a OWB and I think I will also order
a DeSantis Yaqui slide. The Yaqui Slide seems to be the same part # for a multitude of the Kahrs which would work out for me, Also easy peasy for in and out of the car and when I have errands and cannot carry into certain establishments. The real nice issue about the CM9 is I am thinking of a second or an MK-9 and considering an ankle holster also. It has been an awful long time since I carried a bug and in an ankle holster to boot.
The result of the Mrs cooking may make that difficult also. Ya know bending over and all:ohmy:
