Pocket holster for my PM9 arrived today made by a fellow forum member. Well made and extremely thin due to horsehide construction. The gun fits perfectly. Looks to be a great product. I am very pleased with it. The member is jlaudio29

I tried to get a picture of how thin yet stiff the hide is.

My Lead times vary based on work load. Currently my lead times are about 3-4 weeks.

Let me tell you, whether 3 weeks or 8 weeks, it is not long at all to wait for James's works of art in leather! Because his work is comparable to that of people like Milt Sparks, whose website says this:

If you were to place your order today (4/19/2012), the delivery time being quoted on new orders, is 16 to 22 weeks! If your order was placed prior to 4/19/12, it would still be the original 20 to 26 weeks you were quoted, from the date your order was originally placed. We are still working hard to bring this down to a more reasonable level.

Update 4/19/2012.

We are now finishing up the month of November 2011 orders and expect to have them all completed and shipped in the next couple weeks. Some December 2011 orders have been put into production. We expect them also to ship in the next few weeks. Thanks for your continued patience!

Edit: Milt Sparks makes some fine holsters and he is well known for it. Thus, his lead time is as it is. The ONLY reason that James does not have such a lead time is that he is younger and not as well known, YET. But the talent and quality evident in his holsters is absolutely second to none!

Edit2: Believe me. It is every bit worth the wait to take posession of one (or more) of these James Dean works of art! I enjoy looking at and admiring his holsters (I have 3 so far) about as much as I do wearing them! And when I insert my gun, it slides in there with perfect fit and retention. If my guns could talk, they'd say "I'm home!"

Plus, James is a great and upstanding person to do business with! :yo:

Edit3: Every one of you need to know what an extraordinary opportunity we have to know and order holsters from this great holster maker before he is more well known and busy, busy, busy! And before his prices are twice or 3 times what they are now, and his lead time 6 months! And those of you who haven't yet found out, need to know how special the fit and finish of one of these custom made holsters is, done in finest Herman Oak Leather. Not the same as a mass produced holster from a large volume manufacturer (believe me, I know).

+1. I have the IWB for my CW9 and it is everything Jfootin said.
