This time I shot 100 rounds.
Again zero nose dives. So this CM9 has 208 rounds with zero nose dives total in 2 range sessions.
This time I had the slide lock back on all, but one of the magazines. I am pretty sure I limp wristed that one as I was shooting weak hand. I am confident that issue is over.
I did have one strange issue where the slide would not completely engage forward when loading a magazine. The guide rod was noticeably forward of the slide. I released the round and tried to rack it again and it did the same thing. Once I got it finally cleared it didn't happen again. Something was hitting, but I don't know what. I am thinking that it was something with that magazine, but I will keep an eye on it.
The magazines still won't drop clean and I am thinking that I may have to sand the polymer because I tried the squeezing the magazine fix and that didn't help.
All-in-all an improvement over the first range trip. I still can't call it complete success because of the slide engaging issue. Still I think it's on it's way.
