Magazine repair/maint. kits

Kahr sent an email offering magazine maint. kits. I noticed both plastic and metal end pieces are offered. Does anyone have opinions of plastic vers. metal? (I've always been kind of anti plastic for no real reason)

The metal base is intended for the small MK or PM models, but will fit any mag. The downside is that there is a gap between the base and the grip bottom that would otherwise be filled by the plastic, fingergrip base. Personally I like the plastic grip base, but if I pocket carried a PM, then I'd want the flat metal base.

The maintenance kits are a good idea...kudos to Kahr for offering them.

I prefer the metal ones myself. I only have one mag with the metal base plate and it is on my Kahr K9. I would love to find several more.
