You go into a store looking for one thing in particular and you come out with a gun you hadn't planned on buying. I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. I went in looking for a sight for my race gun and made the mistake of walking by the Glock counter. Just the other day I had said to myself that I had all the Glocks that I wanted. OOOPS! There in the cabinet was an OD green sub-compact. I stared at it, but couldn't tell what caliber it was. I was thinking to myself please let it be a .40 or a .45 GAP. That way I wouldn't be forced to buy it. But with my bad luck, it turned out to be a G26. Oh the horror! What was even worse was the price. It was marked $424.99 but they forced me to pay $400 in cash out the door. :D

Your cursed Miss Melissa. I think you might need an exorcism. Or another job to support your habit at the very least.

I know. Finding another PT job will be my main project pretty soon.

You would have passed if it were a G27? Why?

It was used.
Bill K, the .40 and I don't get along too good...too snappy for me. Guess I could have bought it, marked it up $50-100 and resold it.

Forced you? LOL
that's a good one
Ever happened to me?
I was at the gun show a few weeks ago, minding my own business.
And there is a 640-1 for $525.
Just bought the G27 and I already have two S&W Revolvers.
But I had to ask "is that price firm?" Ops
Answer: No, it's not, what do you offer?
Oh the horror! LOL
What was even worse was the price.
It was marked $525, I offered $500,
but they forced me to pay $489.
Yup, real sad story you've got there... (NOT)

Would Melissa or Barth please adopt me? :)
What a horrible thing to happen at a gun store!!!
Next time, call me and I'll escort you. Just in case anything like this happens again, I'll stop you from making a purchase. I'll do the honorable thing and I'LL buy it instead.;)
(Enjoy that new Glock.)

I is in Noff Jawja! Dunno if one would call it east or west tho I tend to see it as north central myself. Just a bit above ATL to the west of 400.
The "store" I was thinkin of is a bit up the road from me, 400 n 53.
N they din't really force me... they wanted $400 and when I asked the guy would he take less he started tellin me what they were new... I was about to walk off and he told me I could walk out with it at $400. That happened to be my limit so I took it and ran before he changed his mind.

Well heck, I walked into Collectors Firearms in Houston several years ago for the first time just to browse - killing time while the wife went in the Dollar Store next door.
Met her out front about 30 minutes later while she excitedly showed me the little books she bought for our grandkids for Christmas ($4 total).
Very nice I said.
Anyway, I showed her the NIB cased Colt Texas Sesquicentennial that I had been lookin' for since they came out in 1985. Only about $2,000 OTD. lol

I think you got the better deal. That's a fine looking gun right there.
